Clown PeppiBack in 1996 Clown Peppi began his circus career with Jay Millers as an aerial artiste. 25 years on, he’s still as funny, and as popular than ever.
The longest, most loyal member of our team, and also multi-talented. If there’s something broken, he’s never too far away and will endeavour to fix it. He puts his self taught talents down to Youtube! Surprisingly, he’s also very good on the sewing machine!
Hobby: Carp fishing by night
Ringmaster LászlóIn 1986, Ringmaster László was born into the famous Hungarian Schlingloff Circus family. Dating back to the 1700s, his family history is full of show business stars and entertainers.
In 2012, whilst on tour with his families circus here in the UK, he stepped into the Big Top Ring for the first time as a solo pro and filled in as host. And so, on that fateful day, a Ringmaster Star was born! Oh what a complete natural he is! Loving every minute of his role really shines through, giving EVERY show 100%.
Hobby: At any spare minute he gets, between driving home to be with his wife and two children, AND performing, he’s often caught watching documentaries such as Deadliest Catch & Gold Rush.
Performing in the ring since the young age of 10, her first solo act was the Aerial Silks (they will always hold a special place in her heart). From this moment on Charlotte knew Circus was going to be a lifetime career. From Footjuggling to Tight Wire, Unicycle to Roller-Skating, Aerial Rope to now CROSSBOW. Sawdust is definitely in her blood and no doubt a born performer.
Fun Fact! During her pregnancy in 2020, with baby Felix, she decided to use her free time in the evenings wisely and get another degree under her belt. Now fully qualified as a Level 3 Childcare professional as well as completing a SEN (Special education needs) course.
A keen adventurer and a lover of the high seas, Jodi and her fiancé Matyi decided to pack up their bags and follow their passions, performing on cruise ships across the world. Some of her favourite countries she visited include Brazil, Iceland, Gibraltar, Barbados and St Petersburg – just to name a few!
Fun fact! During lockdown 1.0, Jodi took her seamstress skills to the next level and decided to open up Minney-Miller Costume Designs. (Find her on Instagram @mmcostumedesigns). Any spare time is spent fitting in custom orders for performers around the world & designing beautiful new costume ideas.
Born & raised on Jay Millers Circus, performing is in her blood! Starting out her career at the age of 9 as a contortionist, being so flexible opened many a door to take her skills into all types of different acts. Deciding being in the air was a firm favourite as it gives such an adrenaline rush, she chose to focus on the aerial cube. Then venturing to the aerial bubble, chandelier and now you’ll see her in this years performance on the aerial Spiral.
Hobby: Loves exploring new places, especially with her little French bulldog Renzi by her side!
Recently graduating from Queen Elizabeths High School with A*’s across the board, JJ has a clear vision of his future in sight. Determined, motivated, and hardworking are three ways we would describe his personality, which definitely shows in his Bouncing Ball routine in this year’s performance.
Hobby: JJ loves all things nature and takes a particular interest in creatures of the sea. His goal is to become a Marine biologist. GO JJ!
Starting his circus career at the age of 18 in is Hometown of Strasbourg, France, as a Circus teacher. Realising he wanted to take his hobby more seriously he got himself an agent and then soon got scouted to join a circus in France performing his Rolla Bolla.
Fast forward 14 years, he’s now performing his new Cross Bow act with his wife Charlotte Miller.
They also have two adorable little boys, Oscar & Felix, at just 2 and a half and 4 months old.
Fun Fact! Spent his lockdown training to become a Qualified Personal Trainer. Now fully qualified, he’s often helping out artists with fitness and wellbeing advice.
From a young age, Matyi’s grandma took him on many a trip to watch the Hungarian State Circus. This is where a spark in his heart was lit and decided to join the Budapest Circus School at age 13.
Fast forward 13 years, he is now living his dream life performing to wonderful audiences everyday, alongside Fiancé, Jodi Miller.Hobby: Since travelling the world onboard Cruise ships, Matyi is fond of exploring new places. You’ll often find him out and about shooting with both his Drone and Cameras.
First appearing in a Jay Millers production in 2004, Miss Zsofi has added many strings to her bow. Some of the many acts she has performed here are, the German wheel, Aerial Perch, Rag doll, Trapeze, Cloudswing, Juggling, Slinky, Chair Balancing and this year she is seen performing alongside Jodi & Paige Miller forming Millers Magic.Fun Fact: During lockdown, she decided to use her language skills to good use, book in some English classes and sit her exams.
Performing from just the age of 9 in a group roller skating number with her family, she soon decided she wanted to have a solo routine and dedicated all her free time, alongside performing everyday, practising and training. Drilled into her since a young age that practice makes perfect, she’s always found in the Big Top spending hours between shows training, stretching and learning her new act, the aerial pole.
Now at ONLY 19 years of age, Alessia has left her family circus in Spain, to perform here in the UK which is one of her many dreams ticked off the bucket list.
Hobby: Being Italian, pasta and pizza are very firm favourites to cook and enjoy.
4th Generation Circus Artist Glenn is seen performing in this year’s show with his younger sister Alessia. Creating their incredible duo Chinese pole routine and Unicycle number together.
Glenn started his performing career at the age of 13 with his Unicycle act. Now learning the Aerial Rings, he can’t wait to perform his new solo routine in the near future!
Leaving his home in Spain, to come perform here in England is something he’s always wished to do!
Hobby: Loves to get involved in all outdoor sport games and is also a PlayStation lover.
Being on stage since the age of 6 as a gymnast, performing has always been a huge passion of Talia’s. After visiting the circus year after year she soon realised that’s where she dreamed to be! Entering the UK Championships at the age of 25, she got scouted by a Circus Director and ended up signing a contract, which then opened the door to her circus career! Seen in this year’s performance with her Swinging Trapeze.
You may also spot her daughter Safiyah, aged 8, in this year’s 9-5 production number!
Hobby: Loves Mixed Martial Arts and is surprisingly good at throwing a few punches…beware!
Alisha started off her career as a championship acrobatic gymnast. Realising she loved performing so much she ‘ran away with the circus’ and started performing at the Hippodrome in Great Yarmouth before then leaving to perform at Disney Springs in Orlando. You’ll spot her in today’s performance with her fire breathing!Fun Fact: LOVES all things chocolate!
